Sustainability

Sustainability is a core value here at Ecowave. As a business trading in excess of 50 years sustainability is a vital part of what we do.

All of our raw materials, production processes and products are fully traceable and appropriately accredited, this provides assurance for our customers that Ecowave products are truly sustainable and demonstrate a commitment and dedication to sustainability. We use a full range of recycled fibres (produced from recycled plastic bottle chips & flakes), sourced through suppliers with the same values.

Our range of polyester bedding products are made from >80% recycled plastic bottles, every kilo of bedding/wadding uses 42 discarded plastic bottles and we source our foam from manufacturers who use blowing agents instead of ozone depleting and cancer causing chemicals, additionally we operate a zero waste facility. We continually invest in equipment and procedures, such as the introduction of lean manufacturing, to improve quality and reduce waste. We vacuum pack products to reduce transportation thereby saving energy and reducing road congestion.
